JEPL A 1998 established SSI/MSME company by 2 technocrats.
A high-performance thermoset engineering plastic with Di-Isocyanate as backbone. In India till 1980 Polyurethane was known for its corrosion resistant coating, slowly gained momentum and its usage as high abrasion resistance material for Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Offshore/Marine, Printing, Material handling systems started.
As JEPL entered in field around 1995 was carrying out ‘Printing Roll’ manufacturing as contract job work. Since 1998 we started operations on our own with marketing and development facilities.
Mr. Jayant Khadilkar being Organic Chemist, lead the company from front and reached important milestones in a planned manner.
2000:Struggling time.JEPL moved to 15,000 Sq. Ft plot with production facility+ office. Now with only few products & few customers, also limited financial banking facility & weak marketing set up.
2010:Transformation Time.We started development lab. Also presented technical papers at international conferences & participation in National Exhibitions. Now with 35 workmen + staff with 60% members from unprivileged class. Own formulation developed in Lab was put in use.

2018: Promising Time. International visits and presentations brought exporting opportunities & with help of Plastic Export Promotion Council, Merchant’ chamber memberships, ISO 9001:2008 certification. Dev

2019-20: Good Times.Best MSMEawards from SKOCH GROUP, IMOT-NITTE, SME100 FORUM, INDIAN POYURETHANE ASSOCIATION’S INNOVATION AWARD ,has given recognition to the efforts of JEPL.

Future Focus:

JEPL has been in steel plant and related supportive products for almost 20 years. We have in the process has done many outstanding jobs, rather customized jobs. We need to revive some of the specific works and explore more opportunities.

Defense, Nuclear and Aerospace Projects are the challenging fields, in the National interest we shall look for the products we did earlier on laboratory scale, trial or sample orders shall be explored further to convert into commercial product.
