ARJAS STEEL PVT. LTD. – A leading SBQ producer of India , operating Two production units at Tadipatri in A.P and Mandigobingarh in Punjab.

Arjas Steel operates two Steel Plant situated at Tadipatri in The State of Andhra Pradesh and Mandi Gobindgarh in the state of Punjab in India. The Arjas steel group has gone through several up gradations and transformations in last several years to emerge in its present Avatar after acquisition of Punjab plant as a Leading manufacturer of Alloy Steel in the country.
The name Arjas is derived from the Sanskrit word Arjava which means Straightforwardness, Sincerity and Harmony in one’s Thought, Words and Actions towards oneself and others. The manufacturing unit at Tadipatri known as Arjas Steel Pvt Ltd.is spread over 846 acres with a capacity of
300,000 MT/Anum of Special steel. The unit is fully integrated from sinter plant, coke oven, blast furnace, steel
melt shop with full refining facilities, a modern rolling mill and a state of the art finishing and inspection facilities. Facilities for Heat Treatment and Cold Finishing have also been installed to cater to the High end Precision
requirements of the Industry. To supplement the power requirements, it has 2 captive power plants producing 21 MW (about 70% of the energy requirements).
The manufacturing unit at Mandigobindgarh known as Arjas Modern Steel Private Limited (AMSPL) currently has a total steelmaking capacity (through two Electric Arc Furnaces of about 12,000 tons per month and rolled products of about 9000 tons per month. Apart from this it also has facilities to make Big Sized Ingots, IF and AOD to produce Stainless and other Tool and Die steels. The unit also has facilities for heat treatment, bright bar manufacturing. A detailed roadmap is being drawn up to upgrade the existing facilities and take up the capacity to around 15000 tons per month and also adding facilities for Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM), VAR, ESR etc. for making ESR and Super alloy steels.
The main focus is on the automotive, defense, railways and related industries. The Tadipatri plant became operational in Nov 2012 and The Mandigobindgarh operations were taken up from November 2020 and both the plants have been scaling new heights with addition of various profiles and ramping up of production to utilize the full capacity. The plants have received several certifications like ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 &ISO 50001 and have emerged as leading suppliers to Indian Automobile industry. We also operate 3 sales offices and warehouses in Chennai, Pune and Faridabad along with representative sales outlets at Chandigarh, Ghaziabad, Rajkot and Mumbai for serving the markets all over India. We have developed various Carbon, Alloy and Micro-alloy steels in Profiles like Rounds and Hexagonal Bars for critical applications in as rolled, cold finished and heat treated conditions and are constantly working with the customers for product innovation and development based on specific customer requirements.
The Steel Plants have been approved for supplies by Major Automobile OEM’s like Ashok Leyland, Mahindra, Volvo, Eicher, Daimler, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, General Motors, Ford, Hero MotoCorp, Honda, TVS, Yamaha etc. apart from RDSO for Railway supplies, BHEL for energy sector and DRDO for Defense supplies.
We are also investing in our community in Tadipatri and Mandigobindgarh and are proud corporate citizens of India. The company has launched several Skill Development and other Social Initiative for the Development of the local community.
